There are 3 levels of access (user accounts) incorporated into e-Hold's product-line.
Case Manager
Case Managers are usually individuals in your organization. Case manager accounts are based on number of individuals with full access for creating, sending and managing, cases and hold notifications. e-Hold, e-Hold Professional include a specified quantity of Case Managers and cases. Additional Case Managers and cases can be added when needed. e-Hold Corporate Case Managers and Cases are unlimited.
Key Person/Custodians
Key Persons or Custodians are participants and include: employees, customers, clients, or third-party entities (non-opposing party), whom you need to notify. These key recipients, are informed of the "duty to preserve" and their area of responsibility regarding a specific legal action. Key Person accounts (individuals who have been sent a legal hold notification) access e-Hold's confirmation module to acknowledge receipt and understanding of information (data) preservation obligations.
Member
A case Member is usually a legal response team member or other participant, who can receive informational (status) reports on cases and notifications, but requires no direct access to e-hold.
